Shepway Regen Phase 1 Opening

Shepway Regen Phase 1 Opening

On 14 October 2026, Beat Officers PC Head and PC Bates attended the official opening of Shepway Regen Phase 1, marking the completion and opening of new residential properties as part of the ongoing regeneration of the Shepway area in Maidstone.

The event provided an excellent opportunity to meet local residents who will be living in the new homes, as well as councillors, representatives from Golding Homes, and other partner organisations involved in delivering and supporting the regeneration project.

Throughout the event, officers engaged with attendees, listened to local concerns and aspirations for the area, and discussed how neighbourhood policing will continue to support the growing community. The opening highlighted the positive investment being made into Maidstone and the importance of partnership working in creating safe, welcoming, and sustainable neighbourhoods.

PC Head and PC Bates would like to thank everyone who took the time to speak with them and look forward to building strong relationships within the Shepway community as the area continues to develop.
